About The Event

The group’s versatile, eclectic style is accentuated by their unique instrumentation from ripping electric guitar leads to beautiful acoustic guitar riffs with some banjo, trumpet and melodica thrown in. With clever lyrics this band will leave a powerful impression, subtly incorporating messages about love, sex and loss into the playful vibes. Audiences get chills from the strong words and harmonies of “Suzie Part 1”, “Throwing Stones” and “Elliot” or find themselves dancing involuntarily to the beats of “Kill Me Slow” “Ride With Me” and “Never Stop”.

Supported on the night by Homeless Yellow who are a four piece acoustic band formed in 2006. They have toured around the country playing everywhere from country pubs, sleepy surf towns to sleepless cities. A very diverse band with a sound that grabs people no matter there walk of life and unites them in song.

Hugo Stanger and The Rattlers play high energy show. Their sound bounces from 60s surf pop, blues and spaghetti western.

Brisbane rockers UPSIZE  formed in 2003, the bands music has been described as “old-fashioned, dirty rock” which is “reminiscent of the glory days of Aussie rock’n’roll”. They love to get the crowd up and dancing with their catchy songs.

Opening the night is solo artist Sean Jackson. Known better as the front man for Brisbane band TrashQueen.
