About The Event

In 2013 Robbie recorded some songs in his bedroom, uploaded them to Triple J Unearthed, and landed himself the Triple J Unearthed National Indigenous Music Award (NIMA) for best new Indigenous talent.

Since then Robbie has released two EPs The Faster The Blood Slows (2015)and Closer To Home (2016). He has garnered support from Triple J and Double J, toured with Josh Pyke, The Rubens and Dustin Tebbutt, played major festivals around the country and won an APRA Music Award for his song The Pain which was named the Blues and Roots Work of The Year.

Outside of music Robbie is strongly committed to his community, working as a long-time mentor with national Indigenous organisation AIME.

Robbie’s debut album is set for release in November. The first songs released have garnered rave reviews and have already reached over 3.5 million streams.
